Katie Robinson

Katie's passion for clay has been a lifelong pursuit, starting in her early years and continuing throughout her career as an educator.  She has honed her craft through evening classes and workshops and is continually amazed by the transformative power of clay.

Katie creates unique contemporary ceramic pendants using porcelain paper clay. Her intricate designs are impressed into the surface and adorned with stunning kiln-fired glazes. 

Her current work is inspired by the patterns on fragments of broken china discovered while beach combing, mud larking and gardening.  Her pieces are both aesthetically striking and imbued with a sense of history and discovery.
