Kate Mercy

I love nature and the myriad of colours that abound in the natural world. Whilst there is no single theme to which I restrict myself, I will often find myself coming back to sea-life and wildlife. It is the beauty of the colours and shapes that drive me most.

I particularly love teaching workshops and imparting my own love of the medium to others.

I am also drawn to larger pieces and this is where most of my commission work lies.  I also work with clients who want to make a piece for their own home but don't have the facilities to do so and want to experience the joy of creating a unique and special piece under tuition.
