I am an artist inspired by the countryside and coastlines in West Sussex and Loire Valley and spend my time between my studios by the beach in Felpham and near Saumur in France.

I work within the tradition of British landscape painting whilst at the same time exploring the endless possibilities of the paint medium and attempting to evoke a sense of time, space and state of fragility.
I paint with watercolour, acrylics, ink, gouache and mixed media on paper, shells, canvas and wood. I love everything that paint does and come at it wondering what will happen next, so I am dripping and painting and masking and blotting. My painting is mark making and my paintings show evidence of time and occupy spaces like an object, like the unique landscape. I am happy to accept commissions no matter how large or small and I am going to be offering painting classes.
