Drawing on Impressionist traditions, my oils capture atmosphere over detail — the particular light of the South Coast, the drama of a Cornish cliff, the way a breaking wave holds its breath before it falls. I paint, not what I see but what I feel, standing in it. Scenes that feel familiar and invite you to look again.
